From traditional blade fins to modern tech such as split fins, open-heel fins, and full foot fin designs, there’s a perfectly-engineered fin for every dive scenario.
Blade fins are the time-honored, classic fin. Stiff blades give you plenty of thrust and lots of feedback. If you’re carrying a lot of gear—like technical and commercial divers do—blade fins are a great option. SCUBAPRO advancements in design, materials, and construction give you more power with less stress on your legs and ankles, while still delivering the maneuverability you need.
The “propeller technology” of split fins offers quick acceleration and efficient speed. These fins don’t offer as much feedback, but with a relaxed flutter kick inside your body’s slipstream, you can achieve incredible speeds. If you’re trying to cover a lot of ground and can get used to the lighter feedback, split fins are a lot of fun.
You can also choose between open heel fins or full foot fins. Open heel fins are adjustable, meant to be worn with boots. If you’re doing beach entries on rocky shores or diving in cold water, open heel fins are a great call. If you want to dive barefoot in tropical waters, full foot fins are a fantastic choice.
