What would you see at the dive site(s)?
- Moray eel, Grouper, Ling, Amberjack, Lobster, Barracuda, Nudibranch, Octopus, Sting Ray, Scorpionfish, Red Mullet, Gray Mullet, Rainbow Wrasse, Damselfish,.
When is the best time to go?
- Most of the dive points in Karaburun face east and south-east so it is more fun and visible to dive in the morning hours. The ideal time during the year to dive in Karaburun starts from the beginning of the May and ends at late September/early October.
Recommended gear for the dive?
- Your gear package should include your basics. For summer, 3 -5mm is recommended. For winter, dry suit or 7mm is recommended. Addition to basic equipment, torch, SMB, knife, dive computer and shaker are recommended.
How do you get to the dive site?
- Our dive points are close to our dive resort so we use our boats which are docked by the beach to get to those points. The duration between the resort and dive points differ by 5 to 10 minutes.
What is the dive depth and visibility like?
- Our dive depths range from 18m to 30m. If it is for training purposes, 42m is available as well.
How many dives a day can be done?
- It depends on the weather conditions, the current amount of divers present at the resort, the daily schedule. Generally a diver can dive 2-3 times per day.
Who takes the divers out?
- We have a staff of 7 (more staff on weekend), and our diving team lead to the divers. If the group have their own leader, they can lead to their own divers as well.
