Which is the best diving spot near you?
- Alpenaquarium Grüblsee - highest diving center in Europe (1160m).
What is there? What is special to experience there?
- 14 different species of fish (e.g. brook trout, gold trout, lake trout, brook trout, Siberian sturgeon, sturgeon, albino sturgeon, paddlefish, etc.), as well as local crayfish. The salmonids come to the platform to be "petted" and fed.
When is the best time to dive there?
- The dive center at the lake is open from the beginning of May to the end of October. Diving is only allowed if the center is occupied and you have registered.
What equipment do you recommend for the dive?
- May + June + September + October = dry suit.
- From mid-June to the end of August, a 7mm semi-dry is sufficient.
How to get to the dive spot?
- You can drive up to the in-house car park from there it is only a few steps to the entrance over the jetty.
Would you recommend a guide?
- There is a detailed briefing immediately after registration. No guide is required.
