Where are the best dive spots near you??
Marine Protected Area of Portofino, Secca Isuela, Punta Chiappa di Levante (Grotta dei Gamberi), Punta Torretta, Dragone, Colombara, Secca Gonzatti, Scoglio del Raviolo and, our exclusive, diving in the Tonnarella
What would you see at the dive sites?
Groupers, snappers, barracudas, croakers, moray eels, conger eels, octopuses, occasionally stingrays, torpedoes, sunfish, amberjacks, tunas, red coral, colonies of madrepores, nudibranchs, hermit crabs, lobsters, magnose.
When is the best time to go?
The best times of the day are early morning and late afternoon. September and October are the two months of the year in which there is the highest concentration of fish and in which the visibility is best.
Recommended equipment for diving?
From June to November a 6/7 mm semi-dry suit is recommended. In the months of July, August and September a 5 mm wet suit may be sufficient, while a dry suit is recommended from December to May .
How do you get to the dive site?
- Dives can be reached from our Diving Center in Camogli in 15/30 minutes by boat
How are the depth and visibility?
- Dives in the Portofino Marine Protected Area take place in walls which by nature have a maximum depth of 30/40 metres, therefore highly recommended for recreational diving and visibility from mid-June to the end of October is generally very good.
How many dives per day can you do?
With our two dinghies we make two/three dives starting early in the morning. On request we can organize afternoon and twilight outings.
Who takes the divers out?
- Our Staff is made up of Instructors, Dive Masters, conductors and managers on board for assistance to divers.
How do divers sign up or learn more?
- We carry out PADI courses of all levels.
