This is the SCUBAPRO way. It's our mission, our passion. Join us as we continue to dive deep to ensure a healthy future for our oceans.  From our environmentally-responsible products, materials and manufacturing techniques to sponsoring the conservation efforts of numerous organizations and our Deep Elite Ambassadors work, we are committed to protect the environments we all love to explore.

RESPONSIBLE PACKAGING

SCUBAPRO is tirelessly working toward providing reusable packaging for all of our products. By this we don't just mean packaging made from recycled materials. Rather, we're working toward packaging that is actually reusable -- for storage, for transport -- enabling you to use and reuse not just the dive equipment itself, but the packaging the equipment comes in, for years and years to come.

  • All of our regulators, instruments and dive computers are already packaged in recycled carton boxes. We are continuously working on replacing all plastic boxes with fabric cases, similar to the MK25 EVO/S620 Ti packaging.
  • Some of our fins are already available in reusable mesh bags.  For all other fins we are already planning a new packaging made from recycled paper.
  • Working diligently over the past few years, we have removed much of the plastic packaging from our line of accessories.  We've already started to remove all plastic packaging from spare parts as well.

BUILDING AN OCEAN ETHOS

SCUBAPRO believes in working together to take on the biggest issues facing our oceans, while encouraging every diver to be conservation-minded. For over 50 years, we have partnered with organizations dedicated to the preservation and health of our oceans.

SCUBAPRO Cares FAQS

The first step of this project was to remove plastic from our packaging.  We always keep stock of our products so we are able to ship orders to our dealers immediately.  As these items have already been packaged, we can only change the packaging of the new product batches.  In order to avoid throwing the existing packaging away, we are handling the initiative as an inline change.

As a manufacturer, packaging is one of the most complex issues for us as we have to consider many different factors: Efficiency, safety and handling, and added value for the end user reusability and choosing materials which benefit the environment but do not have a negative effect elsewhere.

We are working on it! We have already started to reduce plastic and will try to get rid of it step by step. It is difficult to say when this project will be completed, but we have set ourselves the goal to be nearly free of plastic packaging within a few years.
