Interview with Tony Viacara

Why did you decide to take the giant stride into the oceans?

I have always been fascinated by the beauty and mystery of the oceans. As a diver and photographer, it was only natural for me to want to capture these wonders that remain invisible to most people. 

How has diving changed your life?

Diving has allowed me to discover a parallel world where tranquility meets excitement. It has given me a new perspective on marine life and the importance of preserving our oceans.

What kind of diving do you like to do?

I am passionate about diving in coral reefs and exploring the deep sea, where I can encounter amazing creatures and capture their unique beauty.

Tell us about one of the most amazing experiences you have had underwater? 

A night dive where I got to watch the mesmerizing dance of the manta rays under the spotlight. It was magical and unforgettable. 

Where are some of your favorite places underwater?

The coral reefs around Corsica are among my favorite places because of their exceptional biodiversity and fascinating underwater landscapes.

What would you tell people about the oceans?

The oceans are the beating heart of our planet. They deserve our respect and protection, for they are home to an invaluable treasure that nourishes us and fills us with wonder.
